Who doesn’t love a good jumpsuit?
I have always been a fan of the one-piece classic. What I am not always a fan of though is how I look in them.
I personally think the hourglass-figured woman looks fantastic in a jumpsuit. Especially, if you have a little extra derrière. Myself, I have just enough to get away with it…occasionally.
Which is why I loved this version by Joseph Ribkoff. This item hung in my closet for a while. As much as I loved it, I just glimpsed over it again and again. I suppose I thought it was too sexy perhaps? At first look in these photos, you can’t tell that it has sex appeal but it really does. Each side of the suit has a slit up-to-there and there are also openings along the sides of the center. The neckline can also be adjusted to show more cleavage.
So, I actually surprised myself when of all things I decided to wear the outfit for our family Holiday photos. It just goes to show how unexpected fashion can be sometimes.
So how did this “sexy” jumpsuit work for family photos? So, I actually surprised myself when of all things I decided to wear the outfit for our family Holiday photos. It just goes to show how unexpected fashion can be sometimes.
- Scarf accessory – a sheer scarf is an easy way to make any outfit seem more elegant or toned down
- Jacket – a bolero length jacket easily adds a touch of sophistication to any look without covering up the outfit in this case, the jacket also covered the side openings of the jumpsuit
- Gaucho pant style – this wide leg pant gives the jumpsuit a dress feel and look, leaving room to envelope the peek-a-boo leg slit openings. I personally like how this look opens up the jumpsuit for different body types.
